Why Our Caregivers are the "Cream of the Crop"

Our caregivers are totally committed, highly qualified and carefully selected individuals who are personally and thoroughly screened, bonded and insured. Most importantly our caregivers are dependable and extraordinarily caring of others.

In addition to their previous experience, our caregivers receive continuous training that includes a specialized curriculum exclusive to Adelmo Family Care.

In their first 90 days all of our caregivers are required to complete the Certified Companion Aide (CCA) program that was developed by The Senior's Choice.  CCAs are the best trained companion aides in the industry.  They achieve their certification by a thorough study of senior health and care issues followed by extensive testing to ensure competency.

The CCA program was developed to provide caregivers with the specific skills necessary to handle the challenges they face daily.  Our caregivers study nineteen essential subjects including topics such as: communication, understanding aging, emergency preparation, personal care, disability issues, mental health & illness, and nutritional needs of clients.
